Further Information
The idea for The Employer Atlas was developed over the summer of 2009. During this time, a recent college graduate was spending the majority of his days searching for a job and needed a better way to manage his job search. He found many available positions were listed not on major job search websites, but rather on the websites of the companies offering the jobs. These listings were always more comprehensive, frequently updated, and always accurate. Further, almost every organization that has a website lists job vacancies, whereas there is not one comprehensive job searching website. In order to have an easily searchable catalog of job listings, which was also available from anywhere over the Internet, he created and designed The Employer Atlas. Eventually the catalog of job postings should become very comprehensive and accurate.
